A Night at 100 Shoreditch: My DJ Set Experience

Last night I had the pleasure of playing a set at 100 Shoreditch, and what a vibe it was. From the moment I stepped into the venue, I could feel the energy building — a mix of excitement, anticipation, and that unmistakable Shoreditch buzz.

The space itself was the perfect backdrop: stylish but laid back, with just enough edge to keep things interesting. As the crowd gathered, I kicked things off with some warm grooves to set the tone. I wanted to ease people into the night before ramping up the energy, and it was incredible to watch the dancefloor slowly fill as heads started nodding and feet started moving.

About halfway through, the room really came alive. I dropped a few tracks I’ve been sitting on for a while, and the reaction was everything I’d hoped for — pure connection, people moving in sync, strangers smiling at each other through the beats. That’s the magic of DJing for me: creating those moments where the music takes over completely.

One of the highlights was seeing how diverse the crowd was. From locals to visitors just discovering Shoreditch nightlife, everyone found a rhythm to lock into. I fed off that energy, blending house, disco, and a touch of deeper cuts to keep things unexpected but flowing.

By the time I wrapped up, the room felt electric. It was one of those nights where you don’t want the music to end, and honestly, I left feeling just as energized as when I started.

Big thanks to 100 Shoreditch for hosting and to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable night. If you were there, you already know — and if you missed it, I hope to see you at the next one.

Until then, keep dancing.
